Maybe the missing piece

Here's what we discovered – men thrive in tribes.

We need each other, that connection, that shared wisdom passed down through generations.

But let's be real, a lot of us missed out on that father-to-son knowledge transfer. We sure did.

We created The Space Builders Summit first for us, and then for you.

We brought together men who are excited to share something from their heart to yours.

These men are built for the adventure of fatherhood. These are the men who will equip you for your journey.

Frequently asked questions

We got answers

Who are we supporting with this summit?

Skull Games is a 100% Veteran founded 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Their team of professionals have worked in counter sex trafficking for over a decade.

Some people believe sex trafficking only happens in other countries or in “bad neighborhoods,” but it’s happening right here in our communities. Anyone with access to the internet and a phone can order a girl just like they would a pizza.

The men and women of Skull Games couldn’t just stay on the sidelines and watch this go unchecked.

Victims of sex trafficking deserve nothing short of our undivided attention.

What inspired you to create the Space Builders Summit?

“The heart of a man is like deep water” Proverbs 20:5

We set out to discover what was in our hearts. We create from our words and the quality of our words determine the quality of our reality.

Rick was building this virtual summit and Chris was building a hub for parents. If you don’t know, Chris is a brilliant community builder and coach, so Rick knew right off the bat, Chris' community idea would be a great container for the summit. If Space Builders was a person, it would have an Aussie accent and a beard.

Our goal was simple, we wanted to create something that would help us become better dads. We were not good fathers at the beginning, we had to learn how to become better ones.

We built the Space Builders Summit so we could be givers, especially to those who go deep into darkness to serve the most vulnerable. We are mission minded men. Through this summit and with your help, we have the opportunity to be consistent givers into good organizations near and dear to our hearts.

By being a part of the Space Builders Summit you are helping others go into places we never want our children to experience.

How do you define success for the Space Builders Summit?

This is such a beautiful question because it is so individualized, but we bet there are clusters of exploration where most men want to hang out.

The Space Builders Summit is like a big, “choose your own adventure” story. We chose these men based on their stories, their life experience, and their ability to share their journey with you.

In essence, the big cluster of exploration is always about getting closer to truth and authenticity. Am I becoming more like myself? Even though the adventure begins within, it quickly extends beyond the self with these questions:

Can I affect change in the world from a place of sacrificial love?

Can I serve without attachment to outcomes?

Can I live beyond myself?

The quality of these answers help define the quality of life.

Going back to the original question, I think success for the Space Builders Summit is found in who you are becoming.

Am I using more of my gifts?

What differentiates Space Builders from other similar initiatives?

This isn't about quick fixes. While they may feel good, they don’t get at the reason why we are searching for short cuts in the first place.

It's about –

Facing our demons head-on (yeah, it's scary, but that's how we grow)

We are a tribe of doers who want more for themselves and their families

We are committed to real, lasting change, and then doing the inner-work that is required

This isn't about becoming the "perfect" dad. It's about becoming the best version of yourself – for you, for your kids, for your family.

Everything we do in Space Builders is about story. We love the hero’s journey. If you can change the dialogue in your mind, you can change a life.

What makes Space Builders different is we take people on these massive adventures, through our health, relationships, and prosperity story arcs, only to return to the beginning – the right here and right now.

Our hope is that we create enough space in people’s lives so we get to ask the questions of why. Why is this pattern of self-sabotage coming up every time you feel this way or when these words are spoken here? Why do you feel this way in the body? And then with this understanding, we rewrite the story from that place of awareness. We transform our lives through our words.

How does Space Builders help individuals balance career and family life?

I don’t think we help fathers find balance. We may help dads find peace, but I don’t think we help them find balance.

A man is not meant to be balanced, but to always be a bit off put because it is in the course corrections, the finding of that center of gravity where men learn our lessons.

If we were in a perpetual state of balance, we would never learn the lessons we were meant to learn. So no, we are not here to help anyone find balance, but perhaps to ask the question of why do you feel a need to find balance in the first place?

There is no balance, there is just the present moment and how I show up in it.

Grateful dad. After I blew up my marriage, I finally figured out how to be a better man and father while putting the pieces back together. There was nothing to fix, just something to understand. Fixing implies

being broken. The only thing that broke was the inner barrier to the truth.

Our invitation is simple.
